Properties
FOSSER Antifreeze FA 12+ is an antifreeze based on ethylene glycol, free from potentially harmful substances such as nitrites, amines, and phosphates. Thanks to an optimal combination of highly stable inhibitors based on silicate-free carboxylic acid technology, FOSSER Antifreeze FA 12+ offers excellent corrosion and cavitation protection for the longest possible coolant lifespan. Additional additives prevent foaming of the coolant and inhibit deposits.
FOSSER Antifreeze FA 12+ provides year-round, maintenance-free frost and corrosion protection throughout the entire engine life. The coolant has no negative impact on coolant hoses or cylinder head gaskets.
Application Notes
FOSSER Antifreeze FA 12+ mixed with the appropriate amount of water is used as a cooling and heat transfer fluid in internal combustion engines, without restriction whether engines are made of cast iron, aluminum, or a combination of both metals, and in cooling systems made of aluminum or copper alloys.
FOSSER Antifreeze FA 12+ is particularly recommended for light-alloy engines where special aluminum protection at higher temperatures is required. A use concentration of 50 vol.% is recommended year-round. FOSSER Antifreeze FA 12+ is miscible with most ethylene glycol-based coolants.
