Multi-Purpose Gear Oil
Properties
FOSSER MZ 80W-90 GL-5 is produced from selected base oils with a specially adapted additive combination. The EP additives contained in the gear oil form a load-bearing lubricating film on the tooth flanks, which prevents scuffing even under the highest mechanical stress and significantly reduces abrasive wear. The gear oil is also very resistant to aging even under high thermal stress. The good low-temperature flowability is based on the high refining degree of the base oil and the flow improver contained. The gear oil contains suitable active ingredients to suppress foaming and the wetted machine parts are protected against corrosive effects. FOSSER MZ 80W-90 GL-5 is compatible with common sealing materials.
Application Notes
FOSSER MZ 80W-90 GL-5 is used in transmissions with hypoid and spiral bevel gears for axle drives in motor vehicles and commercial vehicles, as well as in cardan drives of motorcycles and in motorcycle manual transmissions, if engine oils are not specified.
